Cherrybrook FC is a family-focused youth and junior football club dedicated to helping young players develop skills, confidence, teamwork, and a genuine love for the game.
We provide fun, safe and high-quality football coaching for boys and girls of all abilities across the Wigan area, welcoming players aged 4–open age .
Whether your child wants to join a team, improve their skills, or simply enjoy playing football with friends, Cherrybrook FC is the perfect place to start. With a pathway from 4 to open age football, creating a true community family where players can grow from age 4 all the way into adult teams. We train and play on our state-of-the-art facilities situated at Laithwaite Park and William Fosters. With our multi-million-pound investment in incredible amenities, we're committed to fostering a love for football and nurturing talent for boys, girls and adults in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Hi Mike,
I just wanted to say a huge thank you for hosting me at Cherrybrook FC yesterday - both Jake and I had a fantastic time. The setup you have is truly one of the best I've seen, and the energy around the club was incredible.
Cherrybrook’s commitment to the local community, and ensuring young people have the opportunity to play football is truly inspiring. I was blown away by the sheer number of games taking place and the number of young players involved - it was brilliant to see! The passion from the coaches was evident, enthusiastically and fully engaged in providing a great experience for the kids.
Please do pass on my thanks to all the coaches who took the time to speak with me, and let them know how much I appreciate their dedication. Keep up the fantastic work - you're making a real difference.
